Joomla Integration Guide
Version 3 marks the latest release for Joomla. The easy-to-use content management system makes it easy to create a great looking site, and you can make that site even better by adding the Digioh lightbox! You'll be able to get the lightbox up and running on your Joomla site in just a few quick steps!
- Joomla version 3 (with Magic Quotes turned off)
- Custom HTML Advanced module
- Your Digioh lightbox install code
Log in to your Joomla Administration site. Choose Extensions from the menu bar, then Extension Manager from the dropdown menu.
On the Extension Manager Install page, click Choose file and find the Custom HTML Advanced module Zip folder that you downloaded.
Once you have uploaded and installed the zip file, choose Extensions from the menu bar, then Module Manager from the dropdown menu. On the Module Manager page, create a new module.
Give the module a name - something like Digioh Lightbox and select a position from the dropdown list. Turn "Show Title" to OFF. We recommend one of the Footer positions. Once you have selected a position, click the Options tab.
Now copy your install code from within Digioh. To get your code, log into your account, and click on your name in the upper right hand corner. Click Setup Instructions from the dropdown menu. Paste that code into the custom HTML text area, then click Save and Close to finish.
Make sure your new module has the status "Published" on the Module Manager page. View your website to ensure the Digioh lightbox has loaded.
- I cannot see the chat box on my website
View your website's HTML source code in your browser. If you don't find the Digioh lightbox code, try selecting a different position from the module's option page.
- I see the script in my source code, but it has lots of slashes
You need to have a PHP setting called Magic Quotes turned off on your server.
